As Kanguva prepares for its highly awaited release, Suriya shared his feelings about the buildup, referring to it as "the calm before the storm." At a press event, he expressed hope that the film would bring joy and pride to everyone involved. Producer K. E. Gnanavel Raja humorously noted the exhaustion from the intense work leading up to the release. With its impressive budget and scale, Kanguva is set to be one of the biggest releases of the year.
Suriya, who stars in Kanguva, spoke about staying calm in the lead-up to the film’s release, acknowledging the build-up of excitement. During a press conference, he reflected on the collective optimism surrounding the project and expressed his hope that everyone involved would feel proud. “I think a calm before this storm, trying to be as calm as possible and giving all positivity, just manifesting in. I just want everybody associated with this film to be really, really happy and proud. It's just that in Tamil Nadu, we make another person happy. That’s what true happiness is. I’m really hoping that happens with the film,” he said.
Suriya further stated that each and every film is like a baby for its makers, and the entire team has poured their heart and soul into Kanguva. “For this film also, we have given a lot of love and hoping the 14th will be a celebration for all of us.”
K. E. Gnanavel Raja, the producer of Kanguva, also shared his immense commitment to the film, noting the significant personal toll the project has taken on both him and director Siva and said, “Director Siva sir didn’t sleep for the last 90 days, and I didn’t sleep for the last 30 days. So I think after seeing the result and seeing the audience's excitement, I think we should take good rest.”
