Kajal Aggarwal joins Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sikandar? Deets inside

Kajal Aggarwal has officially joined the cast of the much-anticipated action drama film Sikandar starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna. The film is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, and the storyline has been tightly kept under wraps. Filmfare reported that Kajal will be playing a pivotal role in the movie, adding to the already star-studded cast.

Earlier reports revealed that Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna will head to Europe towards the end of the year to film a few songs for the movie. The music is being composed by the renowned Pritam, who has already prepared two chartbusters for the film—a dance number and a romantic ballad. With his previous success working with Salman Khan on films like Kick expectations are high for yet another musical hit.

Sikandar also marks AR Murugadoss's return to Hindi cinema after an eight-year hiatus since his 2016 release Akira. The film was announced on Eid this year and is slated for release on Eid next year. Despite suffering a rib injury, Salman Khan resumed filming recently, showcasing his dedication to the project.

The shooting is currently ongoing, with meticulous attention to set design. The team is working on recreating iconic Mumbai locations such as Dharavi and Matunga, a project that is expected to cost approximately Rs 15 crores. The current schedule will last 45 days before moving to Hyderabad for the next phase of shooting.

The ensemble cast of Sikandar is rounded out by notable actors such as Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar, both of whom play key roles in the film. Fans are eagerly awaiting further details about the plot and characters, but for now, much of the storyline remains shrouded in mystery.
