Young & Hungry (2014) If you love food with a side of chaos, Young & Hungry hits the spot. Emily Osment plays Gabi Diamond, a spunky chef hired by tech mogul Josh (Jonathan Sadowski). One night, one mistake, and suddenly their boss-employee dynamic gets complicated. Across five seasons, the show blends quick wit, romantic drama, and plenty of foodie fun. Like Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, it thrives on chemistry and awkward-but-cute situations that make you root for everyone.

Oh My Ghost (2015) This one’s a fan favorite for a reason. Oh My Ghost follows Na Bong-sun (Park Bo-young), a timid chef with a supernatural twist — she can see ghosts. When one lively ghost takes over her body, Bong-sun’s shy personality flips, sparking unexpected romance with her boss, chef Sun-woo (Jo Jung-suk). It’s equal parts funny, spooky, and sweet. Much like Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, it balances heartfelt storytelling with plenty of laughs and a dash of fantasy.

Love Cuisine (2015) Love Cuisine leans into food, rivalry, and romance in all the right ways. Lego Lee plays a celebrity chef who becomes a high school teacher to honor his mentor, only to butt heads with Allison Lin’s Fang Xiao Rou — his mentor’s daughter. What follows is a clash of personalities, plenty of banter, and moments that slowly turn tender. It’s lighthearted, occasionally silly, but warm at its core, echoing the same charm as Bon Appétit, Your Majesty.

The Perfect Match (2017) Cooking competitions take a fiery turn in The Perfect Match. Wu Kang-jen plays a top chef who discovers a night market cook, played by Ivy Shao, serving dishes nearly identical to his. What begins as a battle of pride soon turns into mentorship and, of course, romance. With 22 episodes packed with sizzling food shots and playful tension, it’s a ride that fans of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty will eat up. Food, love, and rivalry — the perfect recipe.
Wok of Love (2018) Gangsters, heiresses, and chefs all walk into a failing Chinese restaurant — and that’s the setup for Wok of Love. Starring Lee Jun-ho, Jung Ryeo-won, and Jang Hyuk, the series is full of clashing personalities trying to keep the restaurant alive. It’s dramatic but funny, emotional but light, and yes, there’s plenty of food porn. Like Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, the fun lies in watching unlikely people come together over meals and slowly change each other’s lives.

Mr. Queen (2020) Mr. Queen is pure chaos in the best way. A modern-day chef suddenly wakes up in the Joseon era — in the body of Queen Cheorin (Shin Hye-sun). What follows is political drama, wild comedy, and a whole lot of kitchen skills being used in a royal palace. Shin Hye-sun carries the show with her brilliant performance, switching between bold and vulnerable with ease. If you liked the mix of history and humor in Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, this one’s a must-watch.

Heo’s Diner (2025) The newest entry on this list, Heo’s Diner flips the time-slip idea. Instead of going back to Joseon, Joseon comes to us. EXO’s Xiumin plays Heo Gyun, a food columnist from the past who lands in modern Seoul. Teaming up with Chu So-jung’s character, he helps save a struggling family diner. It’s got a little of everything — romance, comedy, suspense — but always comes back to food. Much like Bon Appétit, Your Majesty, it’s heartfelt and delicious.
