Jaideep Ahlawat joins Manoj Bajpayee starrer The Family Man Season 3: Report

The Raj and DK-directed series The Family Man is gearing up for its third season and the entire team is currently busy filming in Nagaland. The Prime Video original, starring Manoj Bajpayee, Priyamani, and Sharib Hashmi, is set to return with more action. As to reports, actor Jaideep Ahlawat is the newest addition to the cast for this upcoming installment.

As per a Bollywood Hungama report, Jaideep Ahlawat is anticipated to play a significant role in the next season of The Family Man. A source shared with the publication, “Jaideep Ahlawat has joined the star cast of The Family Man 3 and also joined the schedule in the North-Eastern state of Nagaland. The makers have kept his character strictly under wraps. Hence, there’s no information available on what role he plays in the series.”

The source further mentioned that Ahlawat's addition to the cast is sure to heighten fan anticipation, thanks to his impressive acting abilities and rising popularity from his recent performances.

Recently the cast had a special meeting with Nagaland's Tourism and Higher Education Minister, Temjen Imna Along, in Kohima. During an interview with ANI, Manoj Bajpayee shared that Nagaland is a part of the country he had never visited before. They've been filming there for several days now, and he said that the experience has been incredibly enriching. He also further added that several actors in the show are from Nagaland and urged everyone to visit the place.

The second season debuted on Prime Video in June 2021, with Samantha Ruth Prabhu joining the cast as the lead antagonist. Although the release date for the third season has not been officially announced, the anticipation for its return is already building.
