Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan starrer Housefull 5 has recently crossed the Rs 100 crore mark net in India despite the poor reviews and criticism over sexism in the plot. However, the comedy drama is now eyeing the whopping Rs 200 crore milestone.
According to Sacnilk, Housefull 5 earned Rs 8.50 crore net in India on its sixth day for all languages. The total box office of the film now stands at a staggering Rs 120.25 crore net in India.
The film has now become the third-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025 in India. Housefull 5 has notably beaten the box office record of Salman Khan's Sikandar, which collected Rs 110.3 crore in India during its full run.
Meanwhile, the film is yet to surpass the collection of Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2. The film is still running in the theatres and has collected Rs 174 crore so far. Housefull 5 is expected to soon beat Ajay Devgn’s film record as well.
Meanwhile, Housefull 5 is also doing well at the worldwide box office, grossing over $5 million abroad and almost Rs 200 crore worldwide.
The film also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Dino Morea, Sanjay Dutt, Johny Lever, Chunky Panday, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Chitrangada Singh, Ranjeet, Nikitin Dheer, Sonam Bajwa, and Soundarya Sharma in pivotal roles.
The film revolves around the death of a wealthy billionaire, played by Ranjeet, who left behind his wealth to his successor, Jolly. However, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan claimed to be the real Jolly. Things took a dramatic turn when a doctor, who could unravel the real Jolly's identity, was brutally murdered on the cruise.
To make things more entertaining, the makers have released the film in two versions, Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B, with two different endings.
