Lee Junseong and Shin Seongho, one of the most beloved couples to come out of Korean queer dating reality show His Man Season 2, have officially announced their breakup. The news has left fans heartbroken, as the duo had become one of the most iconic and well-received couples in the online LGBTQ+ community over the past two years.
The pair first met on His Man in 2022, where their chemistry quickly captured viewers’ hearts. With Lee Junseong’s gentle but determined pursuit of the bright and playful Shin Seongho, their love story became a highlight of the season. After the show wrapped, the two confirmed their relationship in January 2023, moving forward as one of the final couples to successfully transition their on-screen romance into real life.
However, on August 20, fans were met with unexpected news when Junseong and Seongho shared a heartfelt community post on their joint YouTube channel, “Junseongho’s,” announcing that they had decided to part ways. Without specifying when the breakup occurred or the reasons behind it, the two wrote, “We have decided to bring our journey together as ‘Junseonghoney’ to a close and walk our own separate paths… We will do our best individually, as Junseong and Seongho, and greet you with our best selves.”
Their YouTube channel, which had grown to over 367,000 subscribers, was known for documenting their daily life, travels, and affectionate moments as a couple. Following the announcement, all videos from the channel were deleted, along with photos of the two on their personal social media accounts, signaling a clear end to their shared public presence.

Junseong and Seongho’s relationship had been celebrated for its authenticity and vulnerability, offering rare representation for queer couples in Korea. Their openness not only brought visibility but also provided comfort and joy to countless fans worldwide. The suddenness of their split has therefore left many shocked, with an outpouring of messages expressing both sadness and gratitude for the memories they created.
Professionally, Seongho continues to work as a freelance makeup artist, while Junseong, who previously worked as a brand representative at a department store, has transitioned to content creation, with YouTube as his main platform. The future of their channel remains uncertain, as does the question of whether they will pursue solo ventures online.
