Gurucharan Singh, known for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (TMKOC), made his first public appearance since his sudden disappearance earlier this year. He was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Saturday night.
In a video shared on Instagram, Gurucharan did not elaborate on the reasons behind his abrupt absence but appeared happy to be back in Mumbai. When asked if the show's producers had cleared his dues, he confirmed that most of his payments have been settled, though he was unsure about the status of others' dues.
When asked about his comeback on TMKOC, the actor is unsure about returning to the show. He said it's ultimately up to fate or God's will. “God knows. Rab jane. Mujhe kuch nahi pata hain. Jayse hi pata chalega, aapko bataunga (God knows, I don’t know anything. As soon as I get to know, I will tell you guys).”
Gurucharan Singh, who mysteriously went missing on April 22, 2024, has finally returned home after nearly a month. The Delhi Police launched an extensive search operation to locate the actor. On May 18, Singh returned to his home in Delhi, bringing an end to the anxious wait for his family and fans.
Following his return, Delhi Police officials interrogated Singh to uncover the reasons behind his sudden disappearance. It was revealed that Singh had embarked on a spiritual journey, visiting several Gurudwaras across various cities, including Amritsar and Ludhiana. This pilgrimage began shortly after he was reported missing. According to the police, Singh had been deeply engaged in his religious quest but eventually realized that he needed to return home.
