Salman Khan wishes MS Dhoni on his 43rd birthday, joins the former captain for midnight birthday celebrations

Indian cricket icon and widely adored former captain MS Dhoni celebrated his 43rd birthday on Sunday, July 7 at midnight. Bollywood A-lister Salman Khan, who was also a part of his midnight birthday celebrations, shared a photo with Dhoni and extending his birthday wishes to him.

In his Instagram post, Salman is captured in a candid pose looking at Dhoni while the former captain can be seen holding a piece of cake. He wrote in his caption, "Happy Birthday Kaptaan Sahab!"

Dhoni is currently in Mumbai along with his wife Sakshi to attend the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. The lovely couple recently graced their sangeet event on Friday.

The captain celebrated his special day by cutting a cake at midnight, joined by his friends from Bollywood including the Dabangg actor. Sakshi Dhoni also shared an adorable video from last night's celebrations in which Dhoni cuts the cake and gives her the first bite following which she touches his feet, in a playful gesture.

To commemorate MS Dhoni's 43rd birthday, the producers behind "MS Dhoni: The Untold Story" orchestrated a special theatrical re-release from July 5 to 11. Directed by Neeraj Pandey, the film chronicles the life journey of the legendary cricketer. The late Sushant Singh Rajput delivered a captivating performance as Dhoni, while the supporting cast included Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, and Anupam Kher.
