3. RJ Rohini pays a tribute to the late Ameen Sayani: The radio jockey recalls the radio presenter’s pathbreaking legacy. Ameen Sayani, who passed away at the age of 91 on February 21, 2024, has been instrumental in shaping not just the way radio and broadcasting was perceived in India; he also left a huge impact on shaping the destinies and paths of the radio jockeys who followed in his footsteps. RJ Rohini Ramnathan posted a heartfelt tribute to the “OG” thanking him for giving radio presenters the “naam, izzat and pehchaan” they get today. “Earlier, they were mere announcers. Comedian Sunil Grover believes comedy is a tough art; speaks about his return to Sunflower show: When Sunil Grover’s web series Sunflower released in 2021 on Zee5, one of the reviews termed it “a beautiful experience with spot-on acting and direction”. The murder mystery set in a middle-class neighbourhood was intriguing and funny in equal parts, with its focus on Grover’s Sonu Singh, a character who comes across as a simple person but with a lot lurking behind his almost idiotic naivety.
