Mumbai’s infamous traffic jams recently ensnared Coldplay’s Chris Martin and actor Dakota Johnson. The lead singer of the iconic UK band and his partner were spotted in a car stuck in a jam shortly after landing in the city. A fan captured the moment and shared it on social media.
Chris and Dakota arrived in Mumbai on Thursday evening for Coldplay’s much-anticipated Music of the Spheres World Tour. After posing for the paparazzi, the couple headed to their accommodation, only to encounter the city’s relentless traffic. In the now-viral video, Chris appeared visibly frustrated, while Dakota seemed unbothered, smiling as she focused on her phone. The video concluded with Chris acknowledging the fan by waving at them.

The following morning, Coldplay’s official X account shared a picture of Chris Martin at Marine Drive, enjoying the serene view a day before their first concert in Mumbai. The post was captioned, “We are very happy and grateful to be here in India.” Excited fans welcomed the band to the country in the comments section.
Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour is creating a buzz across India. The band will kick off their tour on January 18 at DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai and is set to perform three additional concerts. They will play two more shows in Mumbai on January 19 and January 21 before heading to Ahmedabad for their grand finale at Narendra Modi Stadium on January 25.
