In much delightful news for fans, HYBE has officially announced plans to set up a subsidiary in India in the latter half of 2025.

According to Soompi, on June 30, the company revealed that it is in the process of conducting local market research and managing the logistics of establishing the new corporation, with a targeted launch window between September and October.

Chairman Bang Si Hyuk's larger goal of exporting the K-pop system to India, a market with 1.4 billion people, is the basis of this initiative.

Chairman Bang, who is personally in charge of the "Multi-home, Multi-genre" strategy, wants to establish HYBE in international music ecosystems by embracing and honouring the distinctive musical and cultural traits of every local market.

In areas where HYBE has previously established itself, the efficacy of this approach has already been proven. Less than a year after their debut, HYBE America's girl group KATSEYE made headlines in the US by breaking into the Billboard Hot 100, demonstrating the growing influence of HYBE's global expansion model.

As quoted by Soompi, a representative of HYBE stated, “The strategy of establishing footholds in major global music markets and applying this methodology is already producing results. It is predicted that if this trend continues, the landscape of the global music industry—currently dominated by the so-called global ‘Big Three’ businesses—will undergo a significant transformation.”

Since it was formed in late 2023, HYBE Latin America has led HYBE's efforts in South America, and these initiatives are also accelerating. There are currently two significant talent discovery programs in the area.

One is "Pase a la Fama," a band audition program created in partnership with Telemundo, Mexico's top broadcaster, which has been well received by local viewers.

A new Latin boy group will be formed through a different audition process. A groundbreaking implementation of the K-pop training framework in the Latin music industry, both programs include structured training and mentorship phases.
