Bigg Boss 19: Mallika Sherawat confirms she won’t be part of Salman Khan’s reality show

Salman Khan's Bigg Boss has long been a staple in Indian reality television, drawing millions of viewers with its high drama, celebrity contestants, and unpredictable twists. As anticipation builds for the upcoming Bigg Boss 19, rumours about potential participants have started doing the rounds. One of the names that recently sparked buzz was Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat. However, the Murder actress has now put all speculation to rest.

Mallika Sherawat took to her Instagram stories on Monday to categorically deny any involvement with the upcoming season. “Putting an end to all the rumors, I am Not doing Big Boss and NEVER WILL THANK YOU,” she wrote, making her stance crystal clear. Her message not only shuts down the ongoing gossip but also affirms that she has no intention of joining the controversial reality show in the future.

While Mallika has never been a contestant, she has previously graced the Bigg Boss stage. She made a special appearance during Bigg Boss 18 to promote her film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, engaging in fun interactions and dance sessions with the housemates. She also appeared in Bigg Boss 13 back in 2019. Despite these guest appearances, the actress has made it evident that she is not interested in being locked inside the house as a contestant.

Meanwhile, the makers of Bigg Boss 19 have already sparked excitement by unveiling the new season’s first look. The iconic Bigg Boss “eye” has been revamped with bold and vibrant colours, symbolising the wild energy and layered dynamics viewers can expect from the house. The show is expected to premiere in August 2025 with Salman Khan returning as the host. “Countdown hogaya hai shuru, hoga chaos unlock soon! Stay tuned,” the official teaser hinted.

Although the final list of participants has yet to be announced, speculation is rife. Reportedly, around 45 celebrities have been approached. Fan pages like Bigg Boss Taza Khabar suggest that names like Rati Pandey, Hunar Hali, Apoorva Mukhija (The Rebel Kid), Mr Faisu, Dhanashree Verma, Sreeram Chandra, Meera Deosthale, and Bhavika Sharma are in talks.

With so many rumours swirling, one thing is now certain — Mallika Sherawat will not be entering the Bigg Boss 19 house.
