Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule won over millions of fans and continues to captivate. The film was released in early 2025 and has recently helped the actor to earn a huge milestone in his career.

Allu Arjun won the Best Actor award at the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024. The actor has recently taken to his social media to express gratitude towards the Telangana government for honouring him with the prestigious award.

He wrote on his X account (formerly Twitter), “I am truly honoured to receive the first Best Actor award for Pushpa 2 at the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2024. Heartfelt thanks to the Government of Telangana for this prestigious honour.”

He continues his tweet, “All credit goes to my director Sukumar garu, my producers, and the entire Pushpa team. I dedicate this award to all my fans, your unwavering support continues to inspire me.”

The Telangana government announced the first edition of the award on Thursday. The state government named the award after the late revolutionary poet, Gaddar, to recognise cinematic achievements. Veteran actress Jayasudha led the jury. The awards ceremony is set for June 14 at HITEX in Hyderabad, where winners will be presented with the award.

Pushpa 2: The Rule was notably the bagged a huge box office success, breaking all the records. The film grossed over Rs 1,800 crore at the worldwide box office. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna in the pivotal role and revolves around the clash between Pushpa and Bhanwar Singh as they continue their rivalry in this epic conclusion to the two-part action drama.
