After authorities discovered illegal construction at his Hyderabad commercial property, actor Allu Arjun found himself in a legal battle with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
As per India Today report, the Pushpa 2 actor received a show-cause notice from GHMC Circle-18 officials on Monday in relation to an alleged unlawful extension at the Allu Business Park, which is situated on Road No. 45 in Jubilee Hills. The notice asked why the illegal building shouldn't be taken down.
Specifics of the Case
The offices of Geetha Arts, Allu Arts-related businesses, and numerous other companies are housed in the Allu Business Park building, which was co-developed two years ago by Allu Arjun and his family.
As per the reports, construction was allowed on a 1,226-square-yard plot of land with two cellars and G+4 floors in accordance with approved plans. Officials, however, claim that a recent illegal addition to the fourth floor was made without permission. In response, Deputy Commissioner Sammaiah of Circle-18 opened an investigation and sent the actor a notice.
Awaiting Reaction
Allu Arjun and his family have not yet replied to the notice. GHMC has issued a warning that the unauthorized part of the building may be demolished if a legitimate explanation is not given.
Regarding the Work Front
On the professional front, Allu Arjun most recently starred in Sukumar's smash hit Pushpa 2: The Rule, which brought in over ₹1,800 crore at the box office worldwide.
