The luxury residence, located in one of the city's most sought-after addresses, was a symbol of the couple's exquisite taste and lifestyle.

While the sale of such a high-value property has drawn considerable attention, it marks another chapter in the couple's real estate portfolio.

Akshay and Twinkle, who are known for their keen investments, are likely to move on to other ventures while making headlines with this significant transaction. This move further underscores the growing trend among Bollywood celebrities investing in high-end real estate, reflecting the ever-evolving luxury market in Mumbai.

The 6830 sq ft apartment, located on the 39th floor of the Oberoi 360 West project in Worli, Mumbai, has been sold by Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna for ₹80 crore. This luxurious residence, part of a high-end residential tower, offers four parking slots, catering to the needs of the affluent couple.

The property, which boasts a spacious layout with a RERA carpet area, has attracted significant attention in the real estate market due to its size and location in one of Mumbai's prime neighbourhoods.

Additionally, documents filed on January 31 revealed that a stamp duty of ₹4.80 crore was paid in connection with the transaction, further emphasising the value of this prestigious sale.

According to IndexTap, the apartment was sold at a price of ₹1.17 lakh per square foot. This pricing reflects the premium nature of the property, situated in one of Mumbai's most coveted areas, further underlining the luxury and exclusivity associated with the Oberoi 360 West project in Worli.

Neither Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar nor his wife, Twinkle Khanna, have confirmed the reports.

Oberoi Realty's premium residential development features two towers, offering 4 BHK and 5 BHK apartments, along with duplex units and penthouses. The project was granted its occupation certificate in 2022 and provides top-tier living spaces with exceptional amenities.

The sea-view project likely derives its name from its impressive height of 360 meters, with all apartments offering west-facing views.
