The Mumbai North Lok Sabha constituency, with its substantial electorate of approximately 16 lakh voters, holds significant political importance within Maharashtra's electoral landscape. He secured 664,004 votes, while his closest competitor, Sanjay Brijkishorlal Nirupam of the Indian National Congress (INC), received 217,422 votes.
