The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the final results of the NIFT Entrance Examination 2025 for admissions into undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programmes for the academic year 2025–26. Candidates who appeared for the second stage of the exam can now check and download their scorecards from the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT.
This year, the entrance exam saw a strong turnout. A total of 17,974 unique candidates had registered for Stage 1, which included the General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT). With 31,061 test entries recorded, the attendance stood at an impressive 91.69%. Results for Stage 1 were released on April 24, 2025, based on the combined scores of GAT and CAT. Following this, candidates were shortlisted in a 1:4 ratio for the next round, considering both category and programme criteria.
The Stage 2 assessment involved hands-on and practical tests like the Situation Test, Studio Test, Artisan Skill Test, and Personal Interviews, evaluated by expert jury panels at designated centres. The evaluation process followed strict guidelines, with assessment rubrics jointly formulated by NTA and NIFT to maintain transparency and standardisation.
For PG programmes, 1,973 candidates had registered, out of which 1,519 appeared for the Stage 2 interview round. The final evaluation was based on a 100-mark scale, covering various aspects such as programme suitability, career orientation, achievements, communication abilities, and general awareness.
In the UG category, 10,869 candidates registered for the entrance exam, with 8,859 appearing, translating to an attendance rate of 81.51%.
To access the final results, candidates must visit the NTA NIFT portal, click on the result link, and log in using their application number, date of birth, and security code. Once the scorecard appears, applicants are advised to review all details carefully and download it for future admission processes.
