NEET PG Exam 2024: New concerns have emerged regarding the integrity of the NEET-PG 2024 exam, scheduled for August 11. Just as the controversy surrounding the NEET-UG question paper leak begins to subside, social media platform X (formerly Twitter) is abuzz with screenshots allegedly showing Telegram groups openly advertising the sale of NEET-PG question papers.

Activists and medical associations have expressed grave concerns over the integrity of the examination process following these revelations. One Telegram group, named 'NEET-PG Leaked Material,' is openly offering question papers for both exam shifts at a hefty price of Rs 70,000.

The scammers demand an initial payment of Rs 35,000, with the remaining amount payable post-exam. To lure unsuspecting candidates, they promise to deliver the leaked material a day prior to the examination.

"The leaked materials cost you 70k, which you book for your slot with 35k and remaining 35k paid after exams. Once you deposit the 35k, I immediately add you to the group with others who have also booked for the leaked materials. Materials are given 1 day before the exams. All the 2 shifts mean you will be getting 400 MCQs with answers," reads one of the messages shared on Whatsapp.

While the authenticity of these claims remains unverified, the mere existence of such groups has ignited widespread concern within the medical community. The incident has evoked strong reactions, particularly from those already impacted by the NEET-UG irregularities.

Dr. Dhruv Chauhan, National Coordinator of the Indian Medical Association - Junior Doctors Network (IMA-JDN), has raised the issue on social media, highlighting the potential threat to the fairness of the NEET-PG exam.

The medical fraternity is now on edge, demanding stringent measures to safeguard the integrity of the upcoming examination. So far, there has been no official clarification from the authorities whether or not the screenshots alleged to be leaked official documents, are real or not.

NEET PG 2024 Exam Controversy

The NEET PG exam, originally planned for June, was moved to August because of problems with the NEET UG and UGC NET exams. The UGC NET was cancelled just two days after it started, and the NEET PG was canceled only 12 hours before it was supposed to happen. The exam will now be held on August 11 by the National Board of Education.
