Producer Prices in Turkey increased by 1.53 percent (254.25 Index Points) in September from 0.98 percent (250.43) in August of 2015. By sector, manufacturing rose 1.54 percent (251.39), followed by electricity and gas (+2.51 percent; 244.72) and water supply (+0.42 percent; 247.07). In contrast, mining and stone quarrying declined by 1.26 percent;(336.32 points). By industrial grouping, durable consumer goods goods increased by 1.98 percent (254.83), followed by capital goods (+2.57 percent; 216.79), intermediate goods (+1.98 percent; 254.83) and energy (+1.64 percent; 336.87). In contrast, undurable consumer goods fell by 0.09 percent(235.78). Year-on-year, producer prices rose 6.92 percent, accelerating from 6.21 percent in August 2015.
