A woman allegedly hurled vile Hindi abuses at traffic police on Thursday in Bengaluru's Yelahanka New Town area, when a traffic dispute escalated into a verbal confrontation. Bengaluru Police confirmed that the woman was later taken into custody and an investigation has been launched, Hindustan Times reported.

According to the report, the woman was stopped by two traffic police personnel, and a wheel clamp was placed on her two-wheeler. This action seemed to have triggered her anger. In the video, the woman, wearing a helmet, can be seen confronting both a male and a female traffic cop in the middle of the road as onlookers gathered. She was heard shouting obscenities and making highly offensive remarks.

Defending a man standing nearby, believed to be her staff member, she lashed out at the male officer, saying in Hindi, “B*****d don’t say anything to my staff. How dare you touch his t-shirt.”

She then turned to the female cop, using inappropriate language, even threatening her with humiliation. “Kapde utaar ke nanga karungi tujhe (I will strip you naked),” she told the cop.

At one point, the male cop responded, “You are a woman, that’s why we are speaking respectfully. Otherwise, the situation would have been different.” The woman, then challenged them to arrest her if they dared.

The over one-minute-long clip of the altercation quickly spread across social media platforms. Many expressed outrage over the language used, while others questioned the public display of aggression toward law enforcement officials.

Later, the Yelahanka New Town Police confirmed the incident in a post on X (formerly Twitter). The statement said that a case had been registered against the woman, she had been taken into custody, and a legal investigation was underway. Police assured that appropriate action would be taken following the inquiry.
