TVS Motor Company is all set to enter the adventure tourer motorcycle and electric bicycle segments in India this year with the launch of new models, according to its FY25 annual report.
"TVSM will be entering the adventure tourer segment in India, and we would also be launching our made-in-India electric bicycles in FY 2025-26," the company's Managing Director, Sudarshan Venu, said.
"With our diversified product portfolio, sharp customer focus, and challenger mindset, we are strategically positioned to capitalise on this momentum," he added.
Apart from the adventure tourer motorcycle and electric bicycles, TVS will introduce four new models of the iconic British brand, Norton Motorcycles, in India, the UK, and key European markets by the third quarter of the current fiscal.
A flagship 1200cc four-cylinder superbike will lead the four new Norton models. The company currently offers three models -- Commando 961, V4SV, and V4CR.
In the next three years, Norton will have six new motorcycles in its portfolio as part of its expansion strategy across the UK, US, France, Germany, Italy and India.
The motorcycle volumes of TVS rose 10.3% at 21,95,000 units in FY25 from 19,90,000 units in the previous fiscal, while the scooter volumes jumped 21.3% at 19,04,000 units in FY25 from 15,70,000 units in FY24.
Within the scooter segment, the electric models accounted for 2,78,976 units in FY25, logging a growth of 43.9% over 1,93,899 units sold in FY24.
