Auto Expo 2018: Renault unveils electric car sports car Trezor

While the Trezor may not come to India any time soon the French company has promised to launch the compact electric car Zoe in the Indian market perhaps in the next financial year. The car has been testing in India since the last several months.

French car maker Renault unveiled the concept electric, autonomous car Trezor at the 2018 Auto Expo. The Trezor is a two seater super car, which was first showcased at the 2016 Paris Motor Show.

The Trezor has a motor that develops 350 bhp of maximum power and weighs 1600kg. The car which is expected to come into production in 2020 can do 0-100km/hr in under four seconds. The rated top speed of the supercar is 250km/hr.

The Zoe is a five door supermini electric car and has a range of 250kms on a full charge. The car was first introduced in 2012 and in 2016 it got a performance boost which extended its range to 400 kms.

The top speed of the Zoe is around 150 km/hr having a motor that develops peak power of 90bhp. The car costs USD 27,000 in the international market which means that it's India price won't be less than Rs 15 lakh.
