Educomp signs JV with Lavasa Corp to set up schools

Educational services provider Educomp Solutions Ltd said on Monday it has signed a pact with Lavasa Corporation, to set up independent trusts, which will build four educational institutes in Lavasa.

Educational services provider Educomp Solutions Ltd said on Monday it has signed a pact with Lavasa Corporation, to set up independent trusts, which will build four educational institutes in Lavasa.

The joint venture will set up one international residential school which will begin operations this year and develop two pre-primary schools and a residential day school in the next 3 years, it said in a statement to the exchange.

Educomp Sol has touched an intraday high of Rs 720.00 and an intraday low of Rs 704.00. At 12:14 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 709.00, down Rs 1.2, or 0.17%. It was trading with volumes of 55,696 shares.
