Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has acquired over half a percent stake in HFCL, the fiber optic cable maker, via open market transactions on November 11.
HFCL shares rallied 5.5 percent to Rs 78.3 on Tuesday and reached to the upper Bollinger band with long bullish candle formation.
Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund has bought 74.9 lakh shares (equivalent to 0.5 percent of paid-up equity) at Rs 78.45 per share, amounting to Rs 58.8 crore.
Meanwhile, Anil Arora acquired 73.75 lakh units in Cube Highways Trust at Rs 135.5 per unit for Rs 99.93 crore. The unit price was unchanged in the today's trading session.
Varanium Capital Advisors picked 1.05 percent stake in Annapurna Swadisht, and 0.6 percent shares in Jay Bee Laminations.
Annapurna Swadisht shares rallied 6.3 percent to Rs 255.50 after several day of consolidation, while Jay Bee Laminations hit all-time low of Rs 129 before rebounding sharply by 5.53 percent to close at Rs 140.2 today after sharp correction in the previous five consecutive sessions.
Varanium Capital Advisors bought 2.3 lakh shares (1.05 percent stake) in Annapurna Swadisht, the snack food manufacturing company, at Rs 273.54 per share for Rs 6.29 crore, and purchased 1.35 lakh shares (0.6 percent stake) in Jay Bee Laminations, the transformer components maker, at Rs 145.28 per share for Rs 1.96 crore.
