BPCL raises Kochi refinery capacity; stock rises

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has raised Kochi refinery capacity to 9.5 mtpa from 7.5 mtpa, reports CNBC-TV18, quoting NewsWire18. It touched an intraday high of Rs 650.90 and an intraday low of Rs 638.50. At 11:43 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 647.60, up Rs 6, or 0.94%.

Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) touched an intraday high of Rs 650.90 and an intraday low of Rs 638.50. At 11:43 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 647.60, up Rs 6, or 0.94%.


The company has raised Kochi refinery capacity to 9.5 mtpa from 7.5 mtpa, reports CNBC-TV18, quoting NewsWire18.


The company said that, they have spent Rs 4000 cr for expanding Kochi refinery to 9.5 mtpa. Its total refining capacity is at 30.5 mtpa post the Kochi expansion.
 
It was trading with volumes of 7,067 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed down 1.06% or Rs 6.85 at Rs 641.60.
