About the Company
Swan Defence and Heavy Industries Limited (SDHI), formerly known as Reliance Naval and Engineering, is Indias largest shipbuilding and heavy fabrication company, strategically located on the west coast of Gujarat. Spanning over 600 acres, the shipyard is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including a 662m x 65m dry dock capable of accommodating vessels up to 400,000 DWT.
SDHI also hosts one of Indias largest fabrication sites, with 2.41 million sq. ft. of covered shed space that enables year-round operations and supports an impressive fabrication capacity of 144,000 tons per annum.
The facility offers unmatched capabilities for new builds and repairs of both commercial and defence vessels, including jack-up rigs and offshore vessels, as well as heavy fabrication for offshore oil & gas projects, yellow goods, and offshore wind farms.
SDHI is a step-down subsidiary of Swan Energy Limited, a 116-year-old engineering and project-oriented conglomerate.
