US President Donald Trump on Sunday (local time) shared an AI-generated video on Truth Social that showed him piloting a fighter jet emblazoned with the words “King Trump” as he sprayed mud over protesters in what appeared to be New York’s Times Square.

In the 19-second clip, Trump is seen dumping mud on a crowd of ‘No Kings’ protesters, as well as social media influencer Harry Sisson. The video quickly drew attention online after being shared by the president on his Truth Social account.

According to CNN, the latest wave of ‘No Kings’ protests witnessed participation from nearly seven million people across more than 2,700 cities and towns in the United States. The demonstrations, aimed at voicing opposition to President Trump’s policies and leadership style, saw a two-million increase in turnout compared to the movement’s first phase in June this year.

Authorities said the protests have been largely peaceful, with no major incidents or arrests reported.

In Chicago, which has become the focal point of Trump’s immigration crackdown, protesters carried homemade signs and banners reading “Hands Off Chicago,” alongside upside-down American flags, Mexican flags, and Pride flags. In Los Angeles, demonstrators took to the streets in inflatable costumes waving the Stars and Stripes.

Meanwhile, in Washington D.C., current and former federal employees marched along Pennsylvania Avenue on Day 18 of the ongoing government shutdown, calling for a calmer political discourse.

Amid the intensifying dissent, the White House on Sunday posted a screengrab on X showing Trump wearing an emperor’s crown, further fueling the online debate around his leadership image.

The demonstrations come at a time of deep political division, with a federal government shutdown and partisan gridlock over a funding bill continuing to paralyse Washington. While Democratic leaders have voiced support for the protesters, several Republican lawmakers have denounced the rallies as “anti-American,” CNN reported.
