Just days after a Jaish-e-Mohammed commander revealed Pakistan’s duplicity in sheltering and supporting terror outfits, a Lashkar-e-Taiba operative has confirmed that Indian forces destroyed the group’s headquarters at Markaz Taiba in Muridke, Punjab, during Operation Sindoor.
In a video that has gone viral, LeT commander Qaasim is seen standing amid the rubble of the camp, acknowledging its operational importance and underscoring the impact of the Indian strikes.
"I am standing on the ruins of Markaz Taiba in Muridke, which was destroyed in the (Indian) attack. The process of rebuilding it is underway. With god's grace, this mosque will be built bigger than before," Qaasim said. He also admitted that many terrorists, including mujahideens and talaba (students), received training at the facility and achieved "victory (Faiz)".

Pakistan had previously claimed that the building was no longer used by LeT, but Qaasim’s admission directly contradicts these assertions. In another video, he urged Pakistani youths to join Daura-e-Suffa at Markaz Taiba, describing it as a terror training program that combines basic military training with religious indoctrination as part of the jihadi agenda.
The Muridke camp was one of nine terror facilities targeted by Indian forces in coordinated overnight strikes across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir on May 7. Operation Sindoor followed the brutal killing of 26 civilians in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam. Indian forces also struck key bases of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Bahawalpur, Hizbul Mujahideen in Sialkot, and additional LeT facilities in Barnala and Muzaffarabad.
In a separate viral video, Saifullah Kasuri, the deputy chief of Lashkar-e-Taiba, openly admitted that Pakistan’s government and army have provided funds to rebuild the Muridke headquarters.
NDTV cited intelligence reports confirming that the reconstruction was underway and will likely be completed by February 5, 2026 – Kashmir Solidarity Day – coinciding with LeT’s annual convention. The rebuilt Markaz is expected to once again serve as a hub for training, indoctrination, and operational planning.
Earlier, Jaish commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri had admitted that the family of Masood Azhar, the group’s top commander, was "torn into pieces" in strikes on Bahawalpur. He further claimed that the Pakistan Army and its chief, Asim Munir, had "sent generals to funerals" of those killed in Operation Sindoor, exposing the country’s direct backing of terrorist infrastructure.
Pakistan’s terror factories, long defended by official propaganda, now stand revealed by the confessions of the terrorists themselves. Qaasim’s statements leave little doubt that Pakistan continues to provide shelter, funding, and operational support to groups actively training for attacks in India.
Kashmiri openly credited Pakistan’s Balakot as the staging ground for Azhar’s campaign against India. He even invoked Osama bin Laden as a “martyr” who shaped Jaish’s ideology. In another revelation, earlier reported by Moneycontrol, Kashmiri said the May 7 strike on Jaish’s Bahawalpur headquarters, Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah, inflicted devastating losses, including the deaths of Azhar’s family members who were “torn apart” in the bombing. This ties directly to India’s Operation Sindoor, launched in retaliation for the April 22 Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians.
