Gir National Park: The Last Home of the Asiatic Lion Today, Asiatic lions inhabit over 30,000 square kilometers across 53 talukas in 9 districts of Gujarat. Years ago, the Gujarat government launched several conservation initiatives to ensure the protection and maintenance of their habitat.
