Priced at Rs. 27,990, the headphones are part of the company’s HD 500 series and are available in a Copper Edition finish. With a focus on delivering detailed audio, long-term comfort, and compatibility with a wide range of devices, the HD 505 aims to cater to discerning listeners and professional users alike.

At the core of the HD 505 is a 120ohm transducer engineered at Sennheiser’s audiophile facility in Tullamore, Ireland. It features a wide frequency response range of 12Hz to 38,500Hz and maintains a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.2%. According to the company, the angled transducers are designed to replicate the positioning of nearfield speakers, resulting in a broader soundstage.

The headphones include a detachable 1.8m cable with a 3.5mm plug and a 6.3mm adapter for broader compatibility. This setup allows the HD 505 to connect to a variety of audio equipment including amplifiers, A/V receivers, and sound cards. It also supports a modular design with replaceable cables and ear pads.

Sennheiser says the HD 505 delivers deep bass, clear treble, and balanced mids, making it suitable for listening to music, watching movies, or playing games. The synthetic leather headband, lightweight build (237g), and metal mesh earcup covers are designed for extended wear and durability.
