After launching on consoles, PC and Mac in 2024, Ubisoft’s action-adventure role-playing game Prince of Persia: Lost Crown has now arrived on Android and iOS platforms. In this 2.5D platformer, you play as the an “extraordinary and fearless” young hero, Sargon, who’s sent on a rescue mission to save Prince Ghassan. In search of the prince, Sargon reaches Mount Qaf, “the ancient city of Gods, now cursed and filled with time-corrupted enemies and inhospitable mythological creatures”.

In Prince of Persia: Lost Crown, you’ll have to “master unique Time Powers, combat and platforming skills to perform deadly combos to defeat your enemies”, says Ubisoft in the game description. Mastering the Time Powers is essential to solving Mount Qaf puzzles. The game requires Sargon to slide, jump and dash skillfully to overcome enemies and obstacles. Sargon can dual-wield swords; he can also use a bow to dispose of enemies from a range.

The mobile version of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown includes "all the features" of the original game. To help out mobile players, the mobile version adds new customisation options like Wall Grab on/off and Extended Dash on/off. You can also slow down the game speed to as low as 75% through the new 'Time Lord' feature.

The side-scrolling platformer comes with a mobile-friendly interface with touch controls and full support for controllers. For a more casual mobile gaming experience, Prince of Persia: Lost Crown adds optional features like Auto Potion, Auto Parry, Auto Hit, Optional Shield, etc. to make gameplay easier.

Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown was originally released for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, Windows PC and Nintendo Switch in January 2024. It launched on macOS later in December 2024.
