boAt has launched a new fitness-focused wearable in India, but this time it’s not a smartwatch. The company’s premium performance sub-brand Valour has introduced the Valour Ring 1, a smart ring designed for users who want health tracking without a screen constantly lighting up their wrist.

Valour, according to boAt, is aimed at people who treat fitness as a long-term lifestyle rather than a short-term goal. The Valour Ring 1 fits right into that thinking. It’s meant to work quietly in the background, tracking key health metrics throughout the day while staying lightweight, discreet and easy to wear.

The ring is built using a titanium frame and weighs less than 6 grams, making it comfortable for all-day use. It comes in a Carbon Black matte finish, giving it a subtle, understated look rather than something flashy. boAt is offering the ring in multiple sizes, from 7 to 12, and also provides a sizing kit so users can measure their finger at home before placing an order. This is meant to ensure a better fit and avoid the discomfort that often comes with wearables that aren’t sized correctly.

On the health tracking side, the Valour Ring 1 focuses on the essentials. It offers 24×7 heart rate monitoring, heart rate variability (HRV) insights, SpO₂ tracking, step and activity tracking, skin temperature data, stress monitoring, and VO₂ Max estimation. All this data is available through the boAt Crest app, which has also received an updated interface to make it easier to navigate and understand health trends.

Sleep tracking is another key area of focus. The ring supports advanced sleep analysis, including sleep stages and even daytime nap detection, helping users build more consistent sleep routines. For workouts, there’s support for over 40 sports modes, covering everything from gym workouts and running to cycling and everyday walking.

The Valour Ring 1 is powered by a new chipset and precision sensors that boAt says are designed for accuracy and efficiency. Battery life is rated at up to 15 days on a single charge, and the ring can be fully charged in under 90 minutes using a Type-C charging dock. It also comes with 5 ATM water resistance, making it suitable for swimming and showers, and a scratch-resistant build designed to handle daily wear.

As an added incentive, boAt is bundling a health benefits package worth Rs 5,000 with the ring.

The boAt Valour Ring 1 is priced at Rs 11,999 and will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, boat-lifestyle.com, and select offline retail stores across India.
