Itel A80 with 50MP main camera, 5,000 mAh battery launched in India: Price, specs, and more

Itel has expanded its budget A series in India by launching the A80 smartphone this week. The phone has a 120Hz refresh rate supported screen, is IP54-rated for dust and splash resistance, and is available for Rs 6,999.

Transsion Holdings-owned smartphone brand Itel has launched a new budge entrant in its A series, named the Itel A80. The smartphone comes with a 50MP main rear camera with HDR support. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery, and the phone gets a Dynamic Bar feature that comprehensively shows battery status, notifications, and other alerts, similar to latest Apple iPhones.

Itel A80: Price, availability

The Itel A80 is priced in India at Rs 6,999 for the sole 4GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration. The phone is currently available for purchase through offline retail stores and comes with the guarantee of a free screen replacement within 100 days of purchase. The Itel A80 is offered in three colour options, including Glacier White, Sandstone Black, and Wave Blue.

Itel A80: Specifications, features

Itel A80 sports a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by the Unisoc T603 chipset and is claimed to offer up to three years of lag-free experience. Further, the phone packs 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. There’s also an additional 4GB virtual RAM support as well.

The phone houses a 50MP primary camera with a ring light. We get an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats embedded in the punch-hole cutout. Further, it has a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support.

Itel A80 is equipped with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance. Connectivity options include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4G Dual SIM support, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer. It runs on Android 14 Go Editon OS out of the box.
