    Android 2025 Google System update is now rolling out: Here’s everything that’s new

    The October 2025 Google System rollout is now live, bringing a broad set of functional and developer-facing improvements through Play services, Play Store and Play system updates. As always, features noted in release notes do not guarantee immediate availability for all users, since staged rollouts and server-side flags apply.

    New in Google Play services The latest builds enable new developer APIs for cross-device experiences and add new tooling for device connectivity integration inside third-party apps. Wallet gains multiple additions, including a feedback UI for passes and support to load Wavelynx corporate credentials on phones and Wear OS devices. Users on Android 12 or earlier will now be alerted if a loyalty card imported from Gmail is present in Wallet. Live travel cards in Wallet now support real-time status for flights, trains and events. Passkeys stored in Password Manager can now expose hidden entries for manual removal. ReCAPTCHA web verification can be completed directly on phone instead of via desktop browser prompts.
