Barbados Royals are yet to open their account in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025. They have five out of six matches, while the one against St. Lucia Kings was abandoned even before the toss could take place.

At this hour of crisis, the team need some strong motivation to muster the will to salvage the season. And subsequently, they were graced by the visit of Mark Henry - a former powerlifting world champion, two-time Olympian for the United States, and a WWE Hall of Famer.

During his visit to the Royals' camp, Henry talked to the players, notably captain Rovman Powell, about how he occasionally tuned into cricket on television, particularly in the UK and India.

Powell and head coach Trevor Penney appeared to have shrunk when they presented Henry with a Royals jersey with the number 01  and the words 'WORLD'S STRONGEST MAN' printed on the back.

Super-heavyweight weightlifter Henry, 54, participated in the Olympics in 1992 (Barcelona) and 1996 (Atlanta). Throughout the 1990s, he also participated in strongman and powerlifting competitions, taking home multiple medals and trophies. He then switched focus towards pro-wrestling, and joined WWE (then WWF) in 1996 and was associated with the company for over two decades.

Henry earned the first prize in the 2002 "World's Strongest Man" competition at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Classic.

His top highlights as a pro-wrestler in WWE, includes World Heavyweight Champion; ECW Champion; European Champion; 2018 Hall of Fame Inductee.

Henry also worked as a Creative at AEW (All Elite Wrestling), the rival company of WWE, joining the company in 2021 and ending his association three years later.

As reported by CBS Sports, Henry signed a new contract with WWE back in March, which allows WWE to use his likeness while he continues to run All Caribbean Wrestling and host SiriusXM's "Busted Open Radio".
