India at Olympics 2024 Day 7 schedule: India had a great start to Day 6 of the Paris Olympics as Swapnil Kusale bagged a bronze in the men's 50m rifle 3 positions final. However, it was the only delight as one by one, the Indian athletes kept eliminating from their respective events. Among the many were India's three biggest medal prospects -- Nikhat Zareen, PV Sindhu, and the men's doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty.
However, Day 7 can turn out to be a promising one as Manu Bhaker, who has already bagged two medals, will be back in action. She and Esha Singh will take part in the women's 25m pistol qualification precision event. Manu has won an individual Olympic bronze in the 10m air pistol individual and mixed team event. Apart from her, India's emerging shuttler Lakshya Sen will take part in the men's singles quarterfinal against Chou Tien Chen of Chinese Taipei. The Indian men's hockey team will be in action against Australia in the Pool B encounter, which is more of a dead rubber. Both the nations have already qualified for the quarterfinals.
Among the track and field athletes, Tajinderpal Singh Toor will be in action in men's shot put, while long distance runner Parul Chaudhary in the heats of women's 5000m.
