Verma's family on Rs 60 crore alimony
One of the most discussed rumours surrounding the divorce has been the alleged claim that Dhanashree was seeking Rs 60 crore in alimony from Chahal. This sparked considerable media attention. However, Dhanashree’s family swiftly rejected these claims.
On Friday, a relative issued a statement, calling the reports “baseless” and urging the public to refrain from spreading misinformation. The family member clarified, “We are deeply outraged by the baseless claims being circulated about the alimony figure. Let me be absolutely clear—no such amount has ever been asked, demanded, or even offered. There is no truth to these rumours whatsoever." The statement continued to emphasise the harm caused by such unverified reports and called for responsible journalism.
