Bangladesh under-19 cricket team pulled off a sensational win against Mohamed Amaan-led India in the U19 Asia Cup final. India were the favourites to win but Bangladesh had other plans as they pulled off the victory by 59 runs in the summit clash at the Dubai International Stadium. India failed to chase below-par target of 199 and as a result, Bangladesh lifted the U19 Asia Cup title.

Surprisingly, the crowd was in favour of the defending champions Bangladesh in Dubai and throughout the game, loud chants of 'Allahu Akbar' were heard inside the Dubai Stadium. As the fixture was about to get finished, Bangladesh captain Azizul Hakim Tamim was seen pumping the crowd to keep chanting 'Allahu Akbar'.

Fans responded to the Bangladesh captain's request, and even the commentators couldn't help but discuss the situation in detail.

Former Sri Lanka off-break bowler Roshan Abeysinghe said, "Is he trying to jee up the crowd? Wow. Well done."

On the other hand, former India pacer Atul Wassan said, "They are all showmen. They know how to play to the galleries. This is what maturity and coming of age means."

India lose in final without a fight

After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, India successfully kept the Bangladesh batters quiet bowling them out for 198 runs in 49.1 overs. Rizan Hossan played an efficient knock of 47 off 65 balls helping his side reach the total of 198. Yudhajit Guha, Hardik Raj and Chetan Sharma got two wickets each. At the halfway mark of the final, it looked like India will easily get the win. However, the Indian batters failed to do their job.

First, Vaibhav Suryavanshi failed to make an impact getting out after scoring just 9 runs followed by other wickets falling quickly as well. India were reduced to 92/7 in the 27th overs and captain Mohamed Amaan's wicket in 32nd over, proved to be the final nail in the coffin. In the end, India were bowled out for 139 inside 36 overs, winning the final by 59 runs.
