Former Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli and his wife, Bollywood star Anushka Sharma, were recently spotted enjoying a quiet walk on the streets of London. Dressed in casual outfits, the two blended seamlessly into the crowd, far away from the frenzy and constant attention they usually face back home. At one point, the couple was seen laughing and chatting with a passerby, a candid exchange that soon found its way onto social media.
For many admirers, seeing Kohli roaming freely without security during his ongoing break from international cricket was a refreshing and emotional sight. Fans described it as a rare glimpse of “peace over fame,” while some felt that cricket seemed incomplete in his absence.

The couple moved to London earlier this year after the birth of their second child, Akaay, in February 2024. Interestingly, back in April, actor Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr. Sriram Nene, revealed during a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia that Anushka had once shared her thoughts about relocating to London for the sake of her children’s upbringing.

“I have a lot of respect for him. We’ve met him multiple times; he’s just a decent human being. I’ll tell you something, and this is what you learn: they all put their pants on one leg at a time. We had a conversation with Anushka one day, and it was very interesting," Dr Nene said.
"They were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success here. We appreciate what they go through because anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated. Anushka and Virat are lovely people, and they just want to raise their kids normally," he added.
