The Indian cricket team, currently in England for the five-match Test series, engaged in an "epic crossover" with Manchester United players, the photos and video of it were shared by the BCCI. The event took place on Sunday ahead of the fourth Test, which is scheduled to take place at Old Trafford in Manchester from Wednesday.

The players from both teams spent quality time and engaged in a friendly cricket session. However, the meetings between the two head coaches - Gautam Gambhir and Ruben Amorim - were arguably one of the most anticipated. Despite being associated to two completely different sports, they are essentially in comparable roles because of a universal goal of trying to shape their respective teams into their own identities.

Additionally, the Indian head coach, who is a huge supporter of Manchester United, was full of compliments for his Portuguese counterpart.

“I've been here in 2014 as well. This is a completely different experience because you end up chatting with Ruben Amorim. This was a nice interaction that showed what his ideology is towards team sport and what my ideology is towards team sport,” he said in a video posted by the BCCI.

“The basic foundation of the team, sport is very similar where I feel I think it's that player that adapts to what the team needs rather that the team adapts to a certain individual. This is the culture which we want to build,” he added.

In order to keep the series alive, going into the final Test at The Oval, India must win the fourth Test as they currently trail 1-2.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils also are preparing for the upcoming Premier League season.
