The Punjab left-hander has been coached by Yuvraj for many years, and he has developed into one of the top T20 batters. Abhishek, the tournament's player of the season, received a $15,000 reward and the Haval H9, a high-end SUV from Great Wall Motors' Haval brand in China.
On the way return from Dubai, he posted an Instagram picture with Yuvraj with the comment, "No caption needed."
From the outset, Yuvraj inspired confidence in the youngster while urging him to set bigger goals.
''Three years ago, when I started working with him, he always told me that, as a player, doubts are natural. But he always reassured me, saying, 'You will be there, and you will perform. You will win matches for India','' Abhishek said earlier this year.
