RJ Mahvash teases Yuzvendra Chahal with epic Instagram banter

RJ Mahvash and Yuzvendra Chahal have denied rumours of them being together but they don't miss out on teasing fans of a possible link-up. A similar social media activity was witnessed between the duo, as both shared stories with similar caption.

It all started with Yuzvendra Chahal, who is currently in England and is playing for Northamptonshire. He shared a photo on his Instagram story ahead of Northamptionshire's English One Day Cup 2025 match against Kent on Thursday and wrote: "Match Day, Jai Mata Di".

A day later Mahvash shared a similar Instagram story teasing Chahal. She posted a photo of her card, which mentioned her as the co-owner of Supreme Strikers, and wrote: "Match Day, Jai Mata Di".

Mahvash is among the owners of a team in the inaugural edition of CLT10 (Cricket League T10), a three-day tennis ball cricket tournament. The auction for the same took place in New Delhi recently and Mahvash was seen bidding for players.

Her team Supreme Strikers will be led by former Australia cricketer Shaun Marsh.

Chahal and Mahvash were spotted together watching the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which had sent social media into a meltdown. The duo have since dominated headlines with the cricketer also getting teased about his posts on Instagram during his appearance on popular comedy show The Great Indian Kapil Show on Netflix.

Chahal during a chat on Raj Shamani's podcast had quashed relationship rumours with Mahvash. "No, there's nothing. People can think whatever they want to think," the cricketer had said.

"For the first time, when I was seen with someone, people started linking us right away. Even though she clarified it, it was very hard for her. She was called a homewrecker... people said really nasty things. I felt terrible... We could not step out together," he added.
