The 2025 Tata Sierra price is expected to start at around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Motors will launch the new Tata Sierra 2025 in India on November 25, expanding its SUV line-up once again. The company currently sells the Punch, Nexon, Curvv, Harrier and Safari, and the Sierra will be positioned as the newest addition to this portfolio.

The 2025 Tata Sierra enters the mid-size SUV segment, where the Hyundai Creta remains the benchmark. Other models in this space include the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Mahindra Thar Roxx, Tata Curvv, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and MG Astor.

Tata is presenting the new Sierra 2025 as a feature-rich SUV available with multiple engine options. The vehicle was fully revealed on November 15 ahead of its market debut. Price announcements will take place tomorrow, but estimates suggest a starting point of roughly Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom), with fully loaded variants likely to go up to nearly Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).

The reworked version of the Sierra's trademark three-quarter glass design incorporates a panoramic roof, flush glass panels and a contrasting black roof band. This setup aims to retain the light-filled cabin feel of the original model while aligning with current aerodynamic and safety needs. LED illumination is used across the vehicle. A full-width Light Saber LED DRL defines the front fascia, while the rear adopts a similarly slim LED light bar. Additional exterior elements include 19-inch alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, black body cladding, a clamshell-type tailgate, muscular rear haunches and a floating-roof profile.

Inside, the SUV adopts the Theatre Pro three-screen combination, using the Horizon View display arrangement for both the driver and the passenger. This interface works alongside the Sonic Shaft soundbar and a 12-speaker JBL audio setup featuring Dolby Atmos. The Panora Max sunroof, paired with the extensive glass areas, aims to recreate the airy ambience associated with the early Sierra. The interior uses natural shades with minimal metallic detailing, supported by ambient lighting.

Equipment highlights include LED headlamps and taillamps, a piano black grille and an electric tailgate. Six exterior colours will be available -- Bengal Rouge, Coorg Clouds, Munnar Mist, Pristine White, Pure Grey and Andaman Adventure. The cabin uses soft-touch surfaces on the dashboard and firmer plastics on the door pads. The front seats offer ventilation and electric adjustability, with the driver's seat also getting three memory settings. The list further includes floating armrests, a floating centre console, an auto-dimming IRVM and wireless charging.

The steering wheel, HVAC controls and various interior components will be familiar to owners of larger Tata SUVs. Other features include an electronic parking brake with auto hold and front seats equipped with adjustable thigh support. Rear occupants benefit from generous headroom and legroom, and the flat floor improves comfort for the centre passenger.

Tata is expected to offer three engine choices for the 2025 Sierra -- a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre Hyperion direct-injection turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. Manual and automatic gearboxes are anticipated, supported by multiple drive and terrain modes. Boot capacity is expected to be close to 500 litres, although final numbers are yet to be confirmed.

The SUV will initially go on sale with internal combustion engines, while its electric version is planned for an official launch early next year.
