In the new Sierra, Tata is bringing a car that not only looks handsome, but is also loaded to the gills with features. Let us discuss the Tata Sierra 2025 in detail.

Tata Sierra India launch
While Tata officially showcased the 2025 Sierra in flesh on November 15, the
SUV will be launched in India on November 25.

Tata Sierra price
We expect the
2025 Sierra price to start at around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom). Looking at its feature-rich nature, it could go up to Rs 22 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Sierra exterior
The Tata Sierra SUV's
three-quarter glasshouse has been updated with a panoramic roof, flush glazing and a black roof finisher, retaining the open-cabin effect of the original model, while aligning with current safety and aerodynamic norms. The complete lighting set-up is LED. The front uses a full-width LED DRL, branded Light Saber, that runs across the face. A similar light treatment appears at the rear with a slim LED bar. The vehicle runs on 19-inch alloy wheels and uses flush door handles and black cladding. A clamshell tailgate, pronounced rear haunches and a floating-roof treatment define its profile.

Tata Sierra interior
The cabin features the Theatre Pro multi-screen layout with the Horizon View arrangement for driver and passenger displays. It is paired with the Sonic Shaft soundbar and a JBL 12-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos. The Panora Max sunroof and extended glass sections recreate the openness associated with the old Sierra. Cabin materials use natural-toned surfaces with minimal metallic elements. Ambient lighting and the Panora Max system increase overall illumination inside the vehicle.

Tata Sierra features
The new Sierra features LED headlights and taillights, a piano black grille and an electric tailgate. It will be offered in six colour options. Inside, the cabin uses a mix of materials, including soft-touch surfaces on the dashboard and hard plastics on the door trims. The front seats are ventilated with electric adjustment. The driver's seat gets three memory settings as well. The floating door armrests and floating central console add to the layout, while an auto-dimming IRVM and wireless charging are included in the equipment list.

The steering wheel and HVAC are identical to what we have already seen on relatively bigger Tata SUVs. A JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos is part of the package. The SUV also offers terrain modes, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and a large panoramic sunroof. The front seats come with adjustable thigh support. Rear-seat space includes good headroom and legroom, and the flat floor allows the middle passenger to sit more comfortably.

Tata Sierra specifications
We expect the new Sierra 2025 to get three engine options -- 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-litre Hyperion direct-injection turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. There ill be manual and automatic transmission choices. There will be multiple terrain modes and drive mode settings. The Sierra's boot is quite large. Although the official capacity is not known yet, we expect it to be around 500 litres.

Tata Sierra ICE and EV
The 2025 Sierra will have both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) avatars. While the ICE version will be launched on November 25, the EV will enter the market next year.
