As they praised the bold and talented Vaibhav Suryavanshi for his explosive hundred in the IPL, some of cricket's finest figures questioned, "What were you doing at 14?" and called the young prodigy a star in the making.
The cricket community appropriately praised Suryavanshi's remarkable achievement as he became the youngest centurion in T20 cricket when he hit Rashid Khan of the Gujarat Titans for a six over mid-wicket in Jaipur while playing for the Rajasthan Royals on Monday.

Suryavanshi's 35-ball century shattered the record held by former Rajasthan Royals batsman Yusuf Pathan for the fastest century by an Indian. Fifteen seasons earlier, when Pathan hit a hundred from 37 balls, Suryavanshi had not even been born.
"Many congratulations to young #VaibhavSuryavanshi for breaking my record of the fastest @IPL hundred by an Indian! Even more special to see it happen while playing for @rajasthanroyals, just like I did."
