India men's cricket team schedule in 2025: After a long wait for over a decade, the Indian men's cricket team finally ended the ICC trophy drought in 2024. Rohit Sharma-led India secured the ICC T20 World Cup played in USA and West Indies in June beating South Africa in the finals. While this was a high, Team India also touched many lows, particularly in the traditional format of the game.

India were humbled by New Zealand in a three-match series, marking the first whitewash on Indian soil by a traveling side since 1976-77. The loss was shocking and it had solid repercussions. The result dented India's hope to make it to the finals of World Test Championship for the third consecutive time. India's final outing in 2024 was an underwhelming one with the team suffering a 184-run hammering against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. If we shift focus to the ODIs, a star-studded Indian team endured a series loss against Sri Lanka.
