Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali is a great supporter of Babar Azam, whom he refers as "King" as claimed in his previous interviews. Although Ali has fallen behind in the ranks as far as the Pakistan cricket team is concerned, the support towards Babar remains the same. However, on Friday it backfired as the quick shared a tweet predicting Babar's century in the ongoing tri-series final between Pakistan and New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Babar appeared to be in good touch as he walked out to open the innings alongside Fakhar Zaman after Pakistan won the toss and opted to bat. However, Babar's stay in the middle was cut short at 29 off 34 balls after being caught-and-bowled against Nathan Smith. The dismissal saw Pakistan reduce to 54/3 in 11.5 overs.
Babar hit four boundaries and one maximum during his stay in the middle, which prompted an early reaction by Ali. Taking to X, the pacer wrote: "Hundred number 20th on the way." He also dropped a sad reaction following Babar's dismissal but the previous post had already caught many eyes, leading to massive trolling. Here are a few reactions:

If we look at the Pakistan innings, skipper Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha did some rebuilding following Babar's dismissal and added 88 runs for the fourth wicket. Rizwan was dismissed for 46(76), while Agha scored 45(65) before getting out.
Following their dismissals, Tayyab Tahir showed some resistance and accumulated 38(33) at a good pace. However, wickets at regular intervals saw Pakistan innings get over at 242 in 49.3 overs.
