Actress Dimple Hayathi landed in legal trouble

Actress Dimple Hayathi and her husband have been booked by the Hyderabad police for allegedly assaulting their domestic worker.

According to reports, Dimple’s domestic worker has filed a complaint against the couple, alleging non-payment, harassment, and attempted assault at their residence. The complaint has been registered at Filmnagar Police Station.

The domestic worker, who hails from Odisha, claimed she had been hired by the couple to help out around the house, but she has not received any payment for her work.

The housekeeper claimed in her statement that she had been harassed and mistreated by the couple. The househelp also claimed that she was wrongly accused of being careless when their pet dog barked.

The complainant said she was traumatised by Dimple Hayathi and her husband's attempts to strip and beat her.

The police are currently investigating the case.

Who is Dimple Hayathi?

Actress Dimple Hayath is known for her predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil cinema. The actress made her acting debut with the 2017 Telugu film Gulf. She played the role of Lakshmi in the film.

Dimple has starred in several popular films over the years. Her credits include Devi 2 (Tamil, 2019), Abhinetri 2 (Telugu, 2019), and the popular item song Jarra Jarra in Gaddalakonda Ganesh (Telugu, 2019).

Dimple’s recent projects include Telugu and Tamil projects like Khiladi (2022) and Ramabanam (2023).
