Team India's premier all-rounder Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic announced their separation on Thursday evening. Pandya confirmed the same on his official Instagram account and released a lengthy statement, which said the couple have mutually agreed to part ways, bringing an end to the the speculations.
He also mentioned that the two would continue to co-parent Agastya, their son, and requested for privacy.
With Hardik and Natasa no longer together, here’s a quick look at their relationship timeline:
First meeting in 2018
Hardik first met Natasa in 2018 at a nightclub in Mumbai. Their first public appearance together was at Hardik's birthday party.
Engagement in January 2020
After knowing each other for almost two years, Hardik broke the internet by announcing his engagement with Natasa on New Year's Day in 2020. The cricketer had then proposed his girlfriend on a yacht.
Pregnancy announcement in May 2020
The couple then tied the knot in May 2020 during the Covid-19 lockdown. The cricketer also announced that he is expecting a baby and the couple were blessed with a son two months later.
Grand wedding party in February 2023
Three years down the line, Hardik and Natasa renewed their wedding vows by throwing a lavish party in Udaipur.
Tough IPL 2024 and World Cup redemption
As Hardik faced backlash both online and in stadiums after being appointed the new Mumbai Indians skipper, speculations surfaced of the couple parting ways. However, none between the two confirmed the same, although a Reddit post claiming Natasa had deleted all photos of Hardik from social media went viral.
Publicity stunt
However, at the same time reports emerged of this being a publicity stunt to distract jeering fans from trolling Hardik due to change in Mumbai Indians leadership.
World Cup hero
Hardik then redeemed himself by producing a great show in India's successful T20 World Cup campaign. He was the man of the hour when Rohit Sharma handed him the ball to defend 16 runs in the final over of the T20 World Cup final against South Africa.
Soon after the same fans gave Hardik a hero's welcome in Mumbai.

The cricketer then put an end to months of speculations by confirming the separation on social media.
