Champions Trophy 2025: The ICC announced on Monday that ticket sales for the Pakistan leg of next month’s Champions Trophy will begin on Tuesday, even as renovation work at stadiums in the host nation remains incomplete.
The venues in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi are still undergoing preparations, with a January 30 deadline set for handing over the stadiums to the ICC.
This year’s Champions Trophy, scheduled to take place from February 19, will be hosted across Pakistan and Dubai. India’s matches will be held in Dubai, with ticket details for those games expected to be released soon.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) dismissed rumors that the tournament might be relocated due to delays in construction at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, and National Bank Stadium in Karachi. The PCB emphasized that the presence of ICC officials overseeing broadcast, hospitality, and event operations reaffirms that the event remains on track in Pakistan.
The ICC has set the starting price for standard tickets at PKR 1,000 (approximately Rs 310), while premium seating tickets will begin at PKR 1,500 (approximately Rs 465). Tickets for the final, scheduled for March 9, will go on sale after the first semi-final in Dubai concludes.
“We are delighted to announce the official ticket sales for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025. This marks a historic moment for Pakistan, as the country hosts its first global cricket tournament since 1996,” ICC Chief Commercial Officer Anurag Dahiya said in a statement.
